OIDA Local

The same core as one process on your own machine: one SQLite file, one MCP server over STDIO, one operator.

Run it

Requires Node.js 22.13 or later and pnpm 10.

pnpm run setup applies the SQLite migrations. pnpm demo loads a small demo dataset and prints the end-to-end checks. The MCP server starts with pnpm start. Normally the client starts the process.

Connect a client

Any client that accepts a local STDIO command works: command node, argument dist/server.js, working directory the repository. Codex reads the sample configuration in .codex/config.toml.example.

Limits

Single user, one workspace, no network listener. Writes need OIDA_ALLOW_WRITES=1 and, for governance, an OIDA_ACTOR.
Extraction from prose is deterministic and narrow. Conflict detection compares explicit values in overlapping scopes.
Ontology edits support a safe subset of JSON Patch with append-only versions.
